1)Will you send the certificate for the Student Visa to live in Brazil? What should we do with it once we have it?
Yes. As soon as the student send us a recorded CD, tape or DVD showing his work, a Recommendation letter has also to be sent from a teacher, or a musician with a musical resumé; this material has to be approved by our Academic Dean. Being approved, we can send you the certificate for the Student VISA. This certificate will be sent through a security deposit of US$300.00 via Sedex; US$100.00 corresponding to the certificate fee, and US$200.00 to be reimbursed in the College yearly payment (2007 values).

2)How to get Medical Insurance? What is the approximate cost?
It is simple to make an Health Insurance here in São Paulo, if your Medical Insurance doesn’t cover medical expenses outside your country. We have a variety of Insurances Plans with several values.

3)Where to live near School? What are the exact costs?
There are a few places to live near School, including a Third Part Republic, or renting an apartment. By the moment you make your registration at Souza Lima, you can get more living informations in the College Office.

4)How to send money to Brazil from my country?
Any Bank in your country that works with “Visa Electron” card where you can use in an electronic cash machine. Or having an account in the City Bank too.

5)What about mobile phones and normal phones costs?
We have some Operative Offices where you can choose the kind of mobile phone you want (including after or before payment plans). For normal phones, it is necessary to pay a qualification fee and, immediately your phone is installed.

6)How is the payment of the lective year? Is it possible to parcel it?
The value for the College is US$10,000.00. Yes, you can parcel it in 2 payments of US$5,000.00, paying in the beginning of the first and second semesters.

7)Is there any other kind of costs for the College? Books or booklets?
Yes, there are some booklets that the student must buy for the classes, and you can find them in the College Office, too.

8)What about the Social and Human ambient in São Paulo, in Souza Lima and in the musical scene in general?
São Paulo is like any other main city, where you can find everything and all kind of people. Souza Lima stays in the center of the town, in a favoured place, 5 blocs from Paulista Avenue, with facilities of transport, restaurants, supermarkets, Banks, etc. But above all, is where you are going to find good and important friends and where you will study, play and make a lot of progress.
