Consist in 4 Tests:

 
Tests

1) Harmony: written test arpeggios, chords and scales of the modes, functions and tensions.

2) Ear Trainning: Recognition of solfeggio of tetrades and triads, intervals rhythmical and melodical sentences.

3) Essay in Portuguese: or in your own language candidate agree to learn portuguese in 1 year.

We offer scholarship for international students.
You can apply in our school

1) Live auditions during admissions tests (July & December)
2) Scholarship material evaluation month, sending recordings and portfolio  (June & November)

Instrument Tests
Guitar, Bass, Wind Instrument and Piano

1st Part: Reading at sight
2nd Part: piece of repertoire (jazz, MPB, rock), showing melody, improvisation and supporting. Bring play back or another musician to comp.
3rd Part: arpeggios, chords (with tensions) and scales of modes of Higher Harmonic Fields.
 

 

Instrument
Drums

1st  Part: Reading at sight of snare drum and reading applied to groove.
2nd Part: piece of repertoire (jazz, MPB, rock), showing melody, improvisation and supporting. Bring play back or another musician to comp.
3rd Part: grooves: Bossa, Samba, Swing (Jazz) and Funk
4th Part: rudiments: simple plays, double plays, paradidle, flams, open drumming, closed drumming (press roll).
 

 

Voice

1st Part: Reading at sight

3rd Part: arpeggios, chords of major scale.
