Started at Souza Lima in 2010, it is an Association of Latin American Schools of Music. Promoting interchange in all levels of the institutions, among students, faculty and directors. Members from: Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Bolívia, México, Colombia and USA.
Initially created by Souza Lima’s director and president, professor Antonio Mário Cunha, the principal focus of the congress was to unite directors involved with music education in Latin America and create a network for the exchange of academic, teaching, and administrative information. The intention of the group is to also develop an exchange program for the production of events.
