Born in Santos-SP, the pianist, keyboardist, accordionist, and composer is graduated in classical piano from Pio Xll Conservatory, Universidade do Sagrado Coração  in Bauru-SP and in jazz music from UNICAMP.

In the Brazilian instrumental jazz circuit, Guilherme Ribeiro has performed beside Bob Waytt, Robertinho Silva, Nenê, Bocato, Léa Freire, Carlos Malta, Sound Scape Big Band Jazz, Paulo Moura, Raul de Souza, Maurício Einhorn, and others. He has also played with artists such as Roberto Menescal, Vanessa da Mata, Fabiana Cozza, Dominguinhos, Maria Alcina, Moraes Moreira, Tom Zé, Luiz Melodia, Marcos Valle, João Bosco, Dona Ivone Lara and Mariana Aydar.

As a member of Céus’s band and of the harmonicist Gabriel Grossi’s trio, he has taken part in tours such as Circular BR Instrumental and in festivals such as Montreal Jazz Festival in Canada , NorthSea Jazz Festival in Netherlands, JVC Jazz Festival in Paris, France, Sfinks in Belgium and Coachella in the United States.

In 2011, Guilherme Ribeiro released his first authorial album as an accordionist, Calmaria, which shows through his compositions, part of his musical influence: Brazilian music, jazz, tango and European music.

Nowadays, as a music professor, he teaches piano, accordion, counterpoint and jazz performance at Faculdade Internacional Souza Lima & Berklee.
